Covid-19
On the 21st February, the Prime Minister set out the next phase of the government’s Covid-19 response with guidance for parents. Some of the guidance can be found below. For the full guidance, please click HERE
If you have COVID-19, stay at home and avoid contact with other people
If you have COVID-19 you can infect other people from 2 days before your symptoms start, and for up to 10 days after. You can pass on the infection to others, even if you have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.
If your child has COVID-19, they should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. You should also follow this advice if they have a positive LFD test result, even if you do not have any symptoms.
Many people will no longer be infectious to others after 5 days. You may choose to take an LFD test from 5 days after your symptoms started (or the day your test was taken if you did not have symptoms) followed by another LFD test the next day. If both these test results are negative, and you do not have a high temperature, the risk that you are still infectious is much lower and you can safely return to your normal routine. Report your LFD test results after taking each test.
As a company, we will continue to:
1) Encouraging good hygiene by promoting the importance of handwashing for at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap throughout the day
2) Increased cleaning before, during and at the end of each club.
3) Ensuring good respiratory hygiene by promoting the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ approach
4) Symptoms awareness and process for anyone displaying symptoms at the camp & an isolation area. Parents required to immediately collect child from camp if any symptoms occur.
